Customise the Chart Axes

Customise the X Axis

1. In the Dashboard, in the chart for which you want to change the axis, hover over the values on the X axis .

The axis and values change from black to blue.

2. Right-click.

The Format X Axis form appears.

3. In the Axis range minimum value field, type the minimum value you want to use, or move the slider to the right until you reach the correct value.
4. In the Axis range maximum field, type the maximum value you want to use, or move the slider to the left until you reach the correct value.

Tip: If you want to reset to the default axis values, click the Reset button.

5. In the Labels section, select whether you want the axis to display the period number, start date, or end date.
6. Select the start or end date, and then select the Align dates vertically check box.

Note: When you align the dates vertically, the labels are not written over the top of each other.

7. Click OK.

Customise the Y Axis

1. In the Dashboard, hover over the values on the Y axis of the chart for which you want to change the axis.

The axis and values change from black to blue.

2. Right-click.

The Format Y Axis form appears.

3. In the Axis range minimum value field, type the minimum value you want to use, or move the slider to the right until you reach the correct value.
4. In the Axis range maximum field, type the maximum value you want to use, or move the slider to the left until you reach the correct value.
5. If you want to reset to the default axis values, click the Reset button.
6. Click OK.
